The Fraser Valley, the Island, the Okanagan, the Cariboo, the Peace River country - our province abounds with the home-grown best. Whenever possible, we make a choice for locally-produced foods. It's not selfish, just sensible. The farmers are part of the British Columbia social and economic community. They know what they're doing. They compete hard with quality products that are as good, and in most cases, much better than they are anywhere else. Not to mention the fact that being close by, there's an economic advantage and a taste advantage. Less gas, and a quicker trip from farm to market. It makes sense.
A great store, and an ongoing commitment to seek out the best of the foods that we grow right here. The hardt in Meinhardt!
